Psammophis mossambicus Peters, 1882

  • Lectotype: ZMB 2468A collected by W.C.H. Peters between June 1843–August 1847. [designated by Broadley (2002: 96)]
  • Type locality: “Insel Mossambique [=Mozambique Island]”.
