  • Type locality: MADAGASCAR: Rogez, 48°18’ S, 48°32’ E.
  • Holotype: MNHN EY3534, ♀, II.31.
  • Etymology: Refers to the white face: “vahaza” is the Malagasy word for pale foreigners.
