- Type locality: MADAGASCAR: Ampandradava, 23°50’ S, 44°52’ E.
- Holotype: MNHN EY2495, ♀, IX 1938.
- Etymology: “Mora mora” is an indispensable expression in Madagascar meaning “take it easy”.
