Holotype: Unknown, probably at University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan (formerly Punjab Veterinary College).
Type locality: Not specified, central and southern Punjab (Hissar (India) and Lahore (now Pakistan)); ex. Hemidactylus flaviviridis Rüppell.
