  • Holotype: MACN 37671, ♂, collected by F. Videla on 20 February 2002.
  • Type locality: “rocky slopes along tributary streams of the Río Grande basin, in the Peteroa Volcano area, at about 1900 m, Malargüe dept., Mendoza province, Argentina”.
