Phymaturus palluma (Molina, 1872) [conserved name]

  • Neotype: BMNH 1946.8.29.84, adult ♀, collected by Charles Darwin on 24 March 1835. [designated by Opinion 2118 (2005: 116)]
  • Type locality: not designated, listed as “Chili” by Gray (1845), redesignated to “Sierra de Uspallata y Paramillos”, Mendoza, Argentina by Scolaro (2010: 35), and corrected to “Cordón del Portillo, Mendoza province, Argentina” by Lobo & Etheridge (2013: 92).
