- Holotype: IBAUNC-999-1, adult ♂, collected by C. Willoud, C. Stassi and L.P. Castro in December 1973
- Type locality: “Agua de la India Muerta, 1750 m, Nevado Mountains, Mendoza, Argentina”.
- Paratypes (2): IBA-UNC-999-2/3, ♂ and ♀, same data as holotype.
