Phylloicus trichothylax Prather, 2003

Type locality: Ecuador, Cotopaxi, Latacunga, 13 km W, 1372 m.

Holotype: NMNH. male. 1.VII.1975. Langley & Cohen.

Etymology: Trichothylax, from the Greek trichos, "hair" and thylax, "pouch", for the setae-enclosing membranous pouch of tergum IV.
