Type locality: Brazil, Rio de Janeiro, Itatiaia.
Holotype: NMW. male. 16-26.X.1927. Zerny.
Etymology: Bidigitatus, from the Latin bi-, "two" and digitatus, "having fingers", referring to the paired digitate of tergum X.
