Pharceonus cianferonii Monte & Mascagni, 2012

Type locality: Ecuador, Cotopaxi, S. Francisco de Las Pampas, Bosque Integral Otonga, Rio Esmeraldas, 1500–1600 m asl.

Etymology: The species is dedicated to the hemipterologist Fabio Cianferoni, one of the collectors of the new taxon.
