Chrysochloe cephalena (Druce, 1883): 372 [[1]]

Type locality: Ecuador, Sarayacu.

Syntypes: BMNH Undisclosed number of syntypes. In his description Druce addresses 2 different origin localities: Ecuador Sarayacu and Colombia, Antioquia, and says the type is from Sarayacu.
