Type locality: China, Sichuan, E. of Danba, E. of Suopo (30°52'54"N, 102°03'05"E– 30°52' 46"N, 102°03'34"E, elev. 4560–4780 m.)

Holotype: ZIN. ♂. 14.VIII.2004. coll. Belousov and Kabak.

  • Etymology: The species is named for the Russian Entomologist, Prof. Igor Lopatin, who passed away in 2012.
