Type locality: Venezuela, Bolívar, forest near Salto El Sapo at Canaima (6o14.5’N, 62o51’W), ~400 m a.s.l.

Holotype: ZFMK. male ♂. 09.XII.2002. legit B.A. Huber. ZFMK Ar 20620.
