- Holotype: MZB Amph 31765, adult ♂, collected by Tomohiko Shimada, Ahmad Nabil Faturahman and Huda Wiradarma on 17 September 2018.
- Type locality: “western slope of Meratus Mountain Range, Jumantir Camp Site, (Desa) Village of Juhu, (Kecamatan) District of Batang Alai Timur, (Kabupaten) Regency of Hulu Sungai Tengah, in the province of Kalimantan Timur, Borneo, Indonesia (-2.684389° S, 115.615167° E, elevation 1000 m a.s.l.)”.
