Pecari maximus Roosmalen, Frenz, Hooft, Iongh & Leirs, 2007

Type locality: Brazil, State of Amazonas, left bank of the Rio Aripuanã, close to the settlement of Arauazinho.

Holotype: male ♂. INPA4272. 12.III.2003.
