Type locality: Quebrada Sutu y Empalado (5°22′42.14′′N; 75°53′14.24′′W), 1830m, Mistrato, Manpay, Risaralda, Colombia.

Holotype: ICN. male ♂. 03.IV.1992. legit M. Rocha & G. Andrade. ICN-Ar-10601.
