- Holotype: NSMT H00529, adult ♂, collected by M. Maki in August 1923.
- Type locality: “Arisan [=Mt. Alishan]”, Jiayi, south-western Taiwan.
- Paratype: NSMT H00530, adult ♀, same data as holotype.
