- Type locality: TAIWAN: Kaohsiung Hsien, Peinantashan trail, 2250 m.
- Holotype: Aleš Smetana private collection, ♂, 4.VII.1993, A. Smetana.
- Etymology: The specific epithet is the past participle of the Latin verb incurvare (to bend) and alludes to the curved long basal internal structure of the aedeagus.
