Pachycondyla eocenica Dlussky & Wedmann, 2012: 732, fig. 6

Holotype: FIS MeI 10889, lateral imprint of winged gyne.
Type locality: Grube Messel, Hesse, Germany. Messel Formation, Middle Eocene, c. 47 Ma (Mertz & Renne 2005).
Etymology: The species name refers to the Eocene.
Paratype: FIS MeI 8710, head of gyne or worker in full face view.
