Oxyurichthys (Oxyurichthys) limophilus Pezold & Larson, 2015

  • Holotype: BPBM 27321.
  • Paratypes: BPBM 34515 (0, 2); USNM 300002 (1, 0).

Type locality: Kenya, Mombasa Yacht Club, mud bottom, 6–12 m depth.

Etymology: The species epithet is from the Latin limus (= silt), and philus (= lover of), in reference to the habitat in which the species was found.
