- Holotype: MVZ 171519, adult ♀, skin, skull and body in alcohol.
- Type locality: “14 km W of Yanahuaya, department of Puno, Peru, at 2210 m elev.; lat. 14°19′S and long. 69°21′W,” near Abra Marracunca, on the ridge separating the drainages of the Río Huari Huari and Río Tambopata.
