Olyra astrifera Arunachalam et al., 2013

Type locality: India, Kerala, Manimalai River at Kottangal village, 20 km from Mundakayam, 9°28’58.8"N, 76°40’31.2"E [1].

Etymology: The specific name is from the Latin astrifer (= starry), and refers to the star-shaped dots on the body of the species.
