- Holotype: WAM R173368 (Field# PMO54), adult ♂ with original tail, collected by Paul Oliver, Paul Horner, and Susan Perkins on 28 October 2013.
- Type locality: “Oscar Range, Western Australia (17.9166°S, 125.3024°E)”.
- Paratypes (n=5): WAM R173370 (PMO56) and NMV D76948 (PMO55) with same data as for holotype; NMV D77002 (PMO51), NMV D76947 (PMO53) and WAM R173369 (PMO52) from “Oscar Range (17.9125°S, 125.2827°E)”, collected by Paul Oliver, Paul Horner, and Susan Perkins on 28 October 2013.
