Type locality: "on a large boulder on the bank of Sung Mak Hing Stream above Tad Loei Waterfall in hilly evergreen forest in Phu Luang Wildlife Sanctuary, Phu Rua District, Loei Province, Thailand, 17° 15´ 32.4 N 101° 30´ 22.8 E".
Holotype: THNHM 05341 (= FMNH 265925).
