- Holotype: FMNH 258107 (field tag HKV 63531), adult ♀, collected by B.L. Stuart on 30 June 1999.
- Type locality: “Laos, Xe Kong Province, Kaleum Distict, Xe Sap National Biodiversity Conservation Area, 8 m from a small tributary of the Houay Alung Stream, on a 3 cm diameter tree branch 1 m above the ground, 16°00′32″ N, 106°55′31″ E, 920-1000 m elevation”.
