  • Holotype: ZSI A 10070, adult ♂, collected by K. Kunte between 28-29 September 1999.
  • Type locality: “Castle Rock, 15°25′ N; 74°19′ E, approximately 300 m a.s.l., Taluk Joida, Karwar District, Karnataka State, Southwest India”.
