- Holotype: GMC V2445 a, b, nearly complete specimen with its counterpart.
- Paratype: GMC V2446, half complete specimen, only the latter half body and few pectoral bones preserved.
Horizon and Locality: Upper part of Tupo Formation (about Namurian C in age), Upper Carboniferous, Zhongwei of Ningxia, China.
Etymology: From Latin word parvus, meaning small sized.
