• Neenchelys nudiceps Tashiro et al., 2015
  • Holotype: MZB 22725 (formerly HUMZ 194698).
  • Type locality: off Sumatra Island, eastern Indian Ocean (5°53.8'S, 102°41.7'E – 5°54.2'S, 102°43.2'E), 844–856 m depth.

Etymology: The specific name nudiceps from Latin refers to its smooth head.
