Holotype: BMNH 3.7.7.84, adult ♂, skin and skull.
Type locality: “Santa Ana da Chapada, a village situated at an altitude of about 800 m., on the Serra do Chapada [= Chapada dos Guimarães], some thirty miles N.E. of Cuyabá”, specified to between 700 to 900 meters, approximately 15º30’S, 55º31’W, Serra do Chapada, Chapada do Guimarães, Cuiabá, Mato Grosso, Brazil, by Hurtado & Pacheco (2017: 414).
