  • Type locality: PAPUA NEW GUINEA: Irian Jaya: Prov. Monokwari, Ransiki>Anggi, 1850-2050 m.
  • Holotype: SMNS, ♂, leg. A.Riedel, 16.8.1991.
  • Etymology: Latin pumilus designates a dwarf.
