• Hymedesmia rowi van Soest, 2017: 165 (nomen substitutum)

Holotype: BMNH 1912.2.1.62, collected by C. Crossland between 1904-1905.

Type locality: “Suakin Harbour, in 5 fanthoms of water”.

Synonyms

• Myxilla tenuissima Row, 1911: 345 [preoccupied by Myxilla tenuissima Dendy, 1905]
