• Holotype: MNRJ 21285, collected by Rodrigo Moura and Fernando Moraes (RV Alucia) on 15 July 2017.
• Type locality: “off Amazon River mouth, Maranhão State, NE Brazil (0°27′11.16″ S, 43°58′59.99″ W), 180 m depth”.
