Type locality: Okano River on rapits 0.5 kilometers south of village of Na, 0°48'35"N, 11°38'47"E [1], Woleu-Ntem Province, Gabon.
Etymology: The specific name is from the Latin nasutus (= large nosed), in reference to the long snout of this species.
