- Type locality: “from the Foret d'Andrivola, ca. 10 km southwest of Maintimbato Village, ca. 40 km southwest of Maroantsetra, northeast Madagascar, 15°46'S, 49°35'E, in lowland rain forest between 450 and 625 m elevation”.
