Microcaecilia dermatophaga Wilkinson, Sherratt, Starace & Gower, 2013: 2

  • Holotype: BMNH 2008.715, mature ♂, collected by Emma Sherratt, David J. Gower and Mark Wilkinson between 10-11 May 2008 or 24-25 April 2010 and maintained alive in captivity until July 2012.
  • Type locality: “dug from soil in forest close to Angoulême (5°24′28″ N, 53°39′12″ W, 55 m asl), just over 40 km East of St Laurent, French Guiana ... The type locality ... is a forested area in the catchment of small streams feeding the Mana river”.
