Type locality: Sungai Torbol, 5° 47.945’S, 134° 30.365’E, tributary of Sungai Tunguwatu, Wokam Island, Aru Islands, Maluku Province, Indonesia.

Etymology: The species is named wokamensis with reference to the Wokam Island type locality.
