Maylandia barlowi (McKaye & Stauffer, 1986)

Holotype: USNM 274782. [Paratypes: BMNH 1985.10.23.1-4 (4); USNM 274783-84 (4, 1)].

Type locality: Nakantenga Island, 34°39'E, 13°55'S, Lake Malawi [Lake Nyasa], southeastern Africa, depth 12-15 meters.
