Type locality: beating low vegetation in tropical dry forest at 120 m elevation, Forêt d’Anabohazo, 21.6 km WSW of Maromandia, Antsiranana Province, Madagascar.
Holotype: CAS. male ♂. 11–16.III.2001. legit Fisher/Griswold Arthropod Survey team. CASENT 9018930.
