Maculisudis longipinnis Kotthaus, 1967

  • Holotype (unique): ZMH 4932 [ex IOES 38].

Type locality: East of Mombasa, Meteor station 168, 4°17.8'-16.5'S, 48°1.5'-14'E, depth 450 meters.

Etymology: Specific epithet refers to the pectoral and dorsal fin spines which are unusual long for a species in Paralepididae.
