Name

Macropharyngodon moyeri Shepard & Meyer, 1978

Holotype: NSMT-P 18352. [Paratypes: BPBM 20329 (1), CAS 38089 (1), NSMT-P 29835 [was TMBS 760926-7] (1)].

Type locality: Miyakejima, Igaya Bay, Izu Islands, Japan, depth 17 meters.
