Holotype: KU 242045, an adult male, collected by Albert Schwartz and Richard Thomas on 28 February 1963.

Type locality: Anse d’Echelle, La Désirade, Guadeloupe.

Paratype (n = 1): Guadeloupe. KU 242046, an adult male, same locality and information as the holotype.
