Type locality: Japan, Okinawa, Hentona.
Holotype: male. ova collected by Norio Arakaki (Prefectural Agricultural Research Station, Naha, Okinawa, Japan). reared BIRL in 2000 by P.W. Schaefer.
Paratype: seven males (same data as holotype). two females (same data as holotype). one female (larva collected in May 2003 & reared BIRL by P.W. Schaefer).
