• Holotype: MNHNCL POR 15006 (sample number NBP1103–DH74_16–sponge16), collected by RVIB Nathaniel B. Palmer Cruise 11–03 on 24 May 2011.
• Type locality: “Interim Seamount, 60°36.43′S, 66°00.29′W, 1010–1120 m”.
