Holotype: MLP.S 2627 (Figure 7), an adult male, L.J. Avila, C.H.F. Pérez, M.F. Breitman and N. Feltrin collectors, 9th January 2008.
Type locality: Lago Buenos Aires plateau, 18.7 SW Puesto Lebrun, Lago Buenos Aires department, Santa Cruz province, Argentina (47°05’29.0” S, 71°01’12.9” W, 1154 m elevation.
