  • Holotype: AMNH 158202, adult ♀, skin and skull.
  • Type locality: “‘‘Number 2 Camp’’, labeled ‘‘Middle Camp’’ on skin tags, 1370 m, north slopes of Mount Dayman, 09°49'S, 149°16'E, in the Maneau Range (also spelled ‘‘Maneao’’), at eastern end of the Owen Stanley Mountains, Milne Bay Province, eastern Papua New Guinea.”
