Holotype: ZMB 42400, adult ♂, skin and skull.

Type locality: “Ogeramnang (06º26'S, 147º22'E), Saruwaged Mountains, Huon Peninsula, [Morobe Province,] North-East New Guinea, [Papua New Guinea,] 1,785 metres.”
