Type locality: Costa Rica, Guanacaste, Santa Rosa National Park, Bosque San Emilio 30-year-old, in clearing fully insolated part of the day, 300 m.
Holotype: UWIM. female ♀. 1–22.VI.1985. legit I. Gauld & D. Janzen.
Etymology: named after Soussan Parker Dadelahi, Samin D. Dadelahi's sister.
