- Holotype: NKA 3630, adult ♂, collected by S. Reichle and J. Aparicio on 25 September 1997.
- Type locality: “near Carretera Antigua from Villa Tunari to Cochabamba (c. 800 m above sea level), just above the Village of El Palmar, Province of Chapare, Department of Cochabamba, Bolivia”.
