Name

Lathrobium makaluicum Assing, 2013: 254

• Type locality: NEPAL: Mumbug O Makalu 3500 m.
• Holotype: NHMB, ♂, 1980, W. Wittmer.
• Etymology: The specific epithet (adjective) is derived from the name of the mountain range (Banan) where the type locality is situated.
