Lathrobium brevilobatum Assing, 2013: 59

• Type locality: CHINA: S Shaanxi, Qinling Shan mt. range W pass on rd Xi’an Shagoujie, 45 km SSW Xi’an 33°52’N 108°46’E 2600 m.
• Holotype: Volker Assing private collection, ♂, 25.VII.2001 A. Smetana [C118].
• Etymology: The specific epithet (Latin, adjective: with short lobe) alludes to the relative length of the ventral process of the aedeagus, one of the characters distinguishing this species from the similar L. brevitergale.
